What types of surplus food or drink can be donated?

We accept surplus food or beverages that are still fit for consumption such as non-perishable food, fruit, vegetables, soft drinks, juices, cooked foods from a wide range of sources, we even accept personal care items such as soap, shampoo, and others that can help the FLO that we serve.
How does Aksata Pangan control the surplus products it receives?

we are very aware of food safety and food hygiene and sanitation so that we always carry out quality control of the donations given. For surplus food or drinks received at the Aksata Food Hub, we apply the FEFO (First Expired First Out) system. Meanwhile, surplus food or drinks that were immediately saved by the Food Rangers during the Food Heroes program will be checked immediately before being distributed. As for surplus food or drinks that are still suitable for consumption, they will be directly distributed to FLO, while those that are no longer suitable for consumption will be returned to the Aksata Food Hub to then be given to maggot breeders.
